potatoes, eggs and coffee - Which one are you?

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed.

Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot.

He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.

After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.

He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”

“Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” she hastily replied.

“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.

“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.

This Man Shared His Friend’s Story On Twitter And It’s A Message All Of Us Should Share

This statement which seems really casual has killed countless dreams and ambitions. It is NOT OK  for a girl to give up on her dreams just because her husband/in-laws want her to manage the house.

A guy named Usman Ghani tried his bit to convey a powerful message.

He shared the story of one of his ex-classmate on Twitter and it’s an eye-opener for all of us.

           A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island.

          The two survivors who have been a good friends, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they had no other recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.

          The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man’s parcel of land remained barren.

          After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the island, there was nothing.

         Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.

         Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island.

         He considered the other man unworthy to receive God’s blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.

         As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, “Why are you leaving your companion on the island?”

Never ever get disheartened rise above all criticism

A Teacher was writing table of 5 on the board:

5X1=3

5X2=10

5X3=15

5X4=20

5X5=25

5X6=30

5X7=35

5X8=40

5X9=45

5X10=50

After writing she turned back towards students and found that everybody was laughing at her. On asking the reason for laugh, couple of students got up and told:

Ma’am- first line of the table is wrong…It should be 5

Hearing this Teacher (smiling) explained “I wrote the first line wrong on purpose, because I wanted you to learn something important. This was for you to learn how the real world will treat you. I wrote 9 correct lines but nobody congratulated me but one mistake and everybody pointed at it.

MORAL: The world will never appreciate billion right things you do but will criticize for one wrong doing. Therefore, never ever get disheartened if somebody criticizes you. Take it positive and rise above all criticisms.🤗

फ़िल्म पांच में से 3 स्टार्स पाने के काबिल है

                                                  

यह फ़िल्म एक बार तो देखनी बनती है.

लंबे अरसे बाद ऋतिक रोशन के हाथ कोई अच्छी फिल्म लगी है, वैसे इस फिल्म के डायरेक्टर संजय गुप्ता हैं, तो हो सकता है ये किसी विदेशी फ़िल्म की कॉपी हो. 'काबिल' की कहानी दो प्रमियों की है, जिनकी आंखों की रोशनी नहीं है. रोहन और सुप्रिया भले ही एक दूसरे को देख नहीं सकते, मगर एक दूजे से बेइंतहा प्यार करते हैं.

रोहन-सुप्रिया की खुशहाल ज़िंदगी बिखर जाती है, जब दो बदमाश सुप्रिया का रेप करते हैं. पॉवरफुल नेताओं और सिस्टम से जब न्याय नहीं मिलता तो सुप्रिया आत्महत्या कर लेती है. फ़िल्म में आगे की रोमांचक कहानी अंधे रोहन की है, जो माधव और अमित नाम के इन रईसों से बदला लेता है.

हालांकि काबिल एक रेग्युलर रिवेंज ड्रामा है, लेकिन यह फिल्म अंत तक दर्शकों को सीट से बांधे रखती है. भुल्लकड़ गजनी का ये अंधा स्वरुप है, लेकिन इसमें कई नए और दिलचस्प मोड़ हैं. ऋतिक और यामी के करियर का ये एक शानदार परफ़ॉमेंस है, वहीं रोनित और रोहित रॉय विलेन के किरदार में ज़बरदस्त है.

बीटीडीडी फ़िल्म रिव्यू फॉर्मूले पर हमने काबिल की अच्छाईयों और कमियों को जोड़ा घटाया और पाया है कि यह फ़िल्म पांच में से 3 स्टार्स पाने के काबिल है, यह फ़िल्म एक बार तो देखनी बनती है.

रईस’ को मिलते हैं पांच में से तीन स्टार!

        फिल्म समीक्षा: 'रईस' में शाहरुख शानदार, तो नवाज हैं दमदार

             

रईस’ की शुरुआत में एक सीन है, जिसमें 10-12 साल का रईस अपनी कमजोर आंखों के लिये गांधी जी के स्टेच्यू से चश्मा उतार लेता है. शराबबंदी के नाम पर गुजरात में आज तक जो कुछ हो रहा है, यह सीन उस पूरे तंत्र पर एक टिप्पणी है. तो जी खैर, विवादित कहानी, पाकिस्तानी कलाकार, मनसे की धमकी, ट्रेन में सफर, इतने सारे हो-हल्ले के बाद आखिरकार ‘रईस’ आ ही गया. लेकिन इस रईस को देखने के बाद मुंह से निकला- 'मियांभाई, जितने रईस दिखते हो उतने हो नहीं!'

‘रईस’ कहानी है अस्सी और नब्बे के दशक की, जिसमें रईस आलम (बेशक शाहरुख़! ये तो अब मंगल ग्रह वाले भी जान गये होंगे), अपनी मां के साथ बदहाल जिंदगी गुजार रहा है. वो बचपन से ही अवैध शराब के कारोबारी जयराज के लिए काम करने लगता है. इस काम में उसका दोस्त सादिक़ (मोहम्मद ज़ीशान अय्यूब) हर कदम पर उसके साथ है. धीरे-धीरे वो अवैध शराब के धंधे का बड़ा खिलाड़ी बन जाता है. इतना बड़ा कि चीफ मिनिस्टर के यहां भी उसकी सीधी पहुंच है.

कुल मिलाकर ‘रईस’ शाहरुख़ के फ़ैन्स के लिये एक पैसा-वसूल मूवी है. लेकिन यह एक आम गैंगस्टर/माफिया डॉन की मूवी बनकर रह जाती है, जो दर्शकों को कुछ भी नया नहीं परोसती. इसकी कहानी तो नब्बे के दशक की है ही, प्रस्तुतीकरण भी नब्बे के दशक जैसा ही है. उतार-चढ़ावों से रहित एक सीधी-सपाट कहानी. इसके ट्रेलर और पब्लिसिटी ने जो उम्मीदें जगाईं थीं, यह उनसे उन्नीस ही रह जाती है. फिर भी शाहरुख़-नवाज़ की परफॉर्मेंस की वजह से ‘रईस’ को मिलते हैं पांच में से तीन स्टार!
